Sarah Oyinkansola Oyegoke
Sarah Oyegoke (she/her) is a Junior at Stanford University studying Economics and Data Science, with plans to pursue a co-terminal Master’s degree in Computational Mathematical Engineering. Her academic interests lie in the intersection of development economics, data-driven policy and Africana studies, particularly in understanding the economic dynamics and development trajectories of post-colonial African states. Sarah has completed an internship at Vector Ltd in New Zealand, where she applied econometric and machine learning methods to policy and energy projects. She is currently a Capital Group Associate with Stanford Student Enterprises and an Equity Research Trainee with BLK Capital Management. Beyond academics, Sarah is actively engaged in Stanford’s community through Stanford African Students’ Association, the Nigerian Students Association, and as the 26th Secretary of the Undergraduate Senate, where she works to build spaces of belonging and advocacy. Sarah plans to pursue a career that bridges economics, technology, and social impact, leveraging data to address global challenges.
