Kendal Fitzhugh
Kendal Fitzhugh (she/her) is a freshman political science and philosophy double major at Howard University where she is a proud member of the Humanities and Social Science Scholars Program. Her research interests lie in the pedagogical application of formal logic to social science research in order to aid in strengthening conflict resolution techniques. Kendal is currently working to become a writer for the Howard University Philosophy Club and a member of the Political Science Society. This summer, Kendal will be working with the BAD Lab and Vanderbilt University’s Research Experiences for Undergraduates in Accountability, Behavior, and Conflict in Democratic Politics Summer Program to further integrate her passions for political science, philosophy, linguistics, sociology, and conflict resolution. Kendal plans topursue a J.D./Ph.D after she graduates in 2028 in order to become a professor of political philosophy.
